Steven H. Robinson

Steven H. Robinson, 63, died at 11:04 p.m. Nov. 20, 2009, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 19, 1945, in Lima to Robert H. and Lois B. Helms Robinson, who preceded him in death. He and his wife, Pamela S. Robinson, were married April 21, 1978, in Lima and she survives in Lima.

Mr. Robinson was the owner and operator of Steve’s Floors and More since 1995. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing and bow hunting. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was very proud of his 300 ring for bowling a perfect game. He loved his dog Steal Her.

Survivors also include two sons, Tony R. (Sherri) Robinson, of Aiken, S.C., and Shane M. (Venia) Andrews, of Hebron, Ky.; three daughters, Melissa A. (Brian) Joseph, of Lima, Angie E. (Rich) Hodul, of Warrenton, Va., and Melissa K. Andrews, of Lima; eight grandchildren, Amanda, David, Gregory, Haley, Katelyn, Tyler, Alexander and Matthew; two great-grandchildren, Samara and Peyton;  a sister, Patricia (James) Stimmel, of Elida; a mother-in-law, Jean Hefner, of Lima; a brother-in-law David Hefner, of Lima; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Angels for Animals Rescue League or the American Heart Association.
