Robert W. “Bob” McCarty, 61, of Fly, formerly of Lima, died Dec. 31, 2009, at his home.
He was born Jan. 29, 1948, in Lima to John Jackson McCarty and Glenna P. Christian McCarty Shockency, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim (Richard Jr.) Houser, of Lewisville, and Bobbi McCarty, of Celina; two sisters, Linda (Larry) Young, of Woodsfield, and Diana (Bruce) Burkholder, of Lima; two grandchildren and a great-grandson; and his companion, Lois McIntire, of Fly.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Watters Funeral Home, 37501 state Route 78 West, Woodsfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
