Letter: City should give notice of hunters at reservoir

Back in late November early December last year, while walking at Ferguson Reservoir, I noticed three men in orange with weapons and a truck around the reservoir’s southeast corner. I called the park rangers, they came out and told me it was OK. They were city employees with special written permission to hunt. I said OK.
Now, after contacting two city officials, twice with no response back, please let us, the public, know (as I have nothing against hunting) the days and times you’re going to allow these hunts so those of us who walk the reservoir regardless of the season can avoid being shot.
