CELINA – Celina’s Mike Siefker tossed a one-hitter in a 2-0 baseball victory over Celina Tuesday at Celina.
Siefker struck out seven and walked none.
Jarod Dupes took the loss, giving up two runs and six hits through six innings of work.
Kahl Knapke went 2 for 3 for Celina.

Baseball
Defiance 6, Van Wert 1
VAN WERT – Defiance pushed its record to 12-2 with a Western Buckeye League win over Van Wert.
Defiance is 5-0 in the WBL. Van Wert is 4-4, 2-2 in the WBL.
Anthony Kidson picked up the win in his two-hit effort.
Jake Thomas and Kurt Belau both homered for the Bulldogs.
Coldwater 7, Versailles 1
COLDWATER – Coldwater’s Reese Klenke (4-1) won his fourth game with a Midwest Athletic Conference victory over Versailles.
Coldwater’s Aaron Rammel went 3 for 3 with two doubles and a grand slam home run.
Klenke struck out nine and gave up one run on six hits.
Coldwater is 9-6, 3-0 in the MAC. Versailles is 13-5, 3-1 in the MAC.
Parkway 4, New Knoxville 0
PARKWAY – Parkway’s Chris Brazle tossed a one-hitter in a MAC win over New Knoxville.
Parkway is 10-2. New Knoxville is 7-3.
Ottawa-Glandorf 3, Elida 2
GLANDORF – Ottawa-Glandorf scored a run in the home seventh to edge Elida in a WBL game at Ottawa-Glandorf.
Dalton Martz went 3 for 4 with a double for Elida. Andrew Clevenger was 2 for 3.
Drew Ellerbrock went 3 for 4 with two RBIs for the Titans. Cory Imm and Jake Hashbarger both went 2 for 3 for O-G.
Ellerbrock went the distance for the win. He gave up two runs, one earned, on seven hits. He struck out five and walked four.
The Titans are 6-5, 2-3 in the WBL. Elida is 5-9, 2-3 in the WBL.
Delphos St. John’s 16, Marion Local 6
DELPHOS – Delphos St. John’s Jordan Leininger had a double and grand slam homer in the Blue Jays’ convincing victory over Marion Local.
Troy Warnecke also supplied a home run for St. John’s, which pounded out 12 hits.
Curtis Geise earned the victory.
Marion Local’s John Elking also hit a grand slam.
Arlington 9, Upper Scioto Valley 0
MCGUFFEY – Arlington tossed a six-hit shutout at USV at McGuffey.
Arlington (4-7) had 10 hits. The Rams are 3-11.
Minster 17, Fort Recovery 0
MINSTER – Minster notched a no-hitter and pounded out 20 hits in a win over Fort Recovery.
Bath 6, Kenton 3
BATH TOWNSHIP – Bath’s Cory McNett went 2 for 3 with two RBIs to help the Wildcats notch a WBL win over Kenton.
Nate Heffner went 2 for 3 with a double.
Sullivan went five innings for the win. He struck out seven and walked four.
Bath stands 11-4, 4-1 in the WBL.
Fort Jennings 8, Spencerville 4
FORT JENNINGS – Fort Jennings pushed across four runs in the home sixth inning to pull past Spencerville.
Cody Warnecke posted the win.
Jared Calvelage went 3 for 4 with a home run for the Musketeers. Nolan Neidert was 3 for 3 with a home run.

Softball
Continental 5, Bryan 3
Leva Weller struck out five to help Continental knock off Bryan for a non-league win. She gave up three hits.
Taylor Williamson had two hits with a double for the Pirates. Brittany Noia  had a triple.
Napoleon 21, Lima Senior 0
LIMA – Napoleon scored 10 runs in the second and went on to steamroll Lima Senior.
Napoleon had 21 hits, while the Spartans had just two.
Lima Senior is 0-11.
Delphos Jefferson 20, Ottoville 5
OTTOVILLE – Delphos Jefferson’s Cassidy Bevington went 3 for 3 with a double, a triple to help power the Wildcats over Ottoville.
Taylor Branham went 3 for 3 with a double and a home run for the Wildcats.
Parkway 4, Russia 2
ROCKFORD – Parkway left-hander Emily Crowell lifted her record to 8-0 with a victory over Russia.
Parkway scored three in the home fifth to take a 4-2 lead. The Panthers’ Kylie Snyder delivered a three-run double in the fifth.
Crowell, who struck out 11, gave up two runs on five hits. She didn’t yield a hit over the final four innings.
Coldwater 4, Fort Recovery 1
COLDWATER – Coldwater scored three runs in the home sixth to post a victory over Fort Recovery.
Amanda Post struck out six and walked two for the victory. She gave up one run on five hits over seven innings.
Bath 9, Kenton 1
KENTON – Bath’s Kimmy Reynolds struck out six to lift the Wildkittens to a victory over Kenton. Reynolds gave up one run on three hits and walked three.
Bath’s Ali Best went 3 for 4 with a double. Camille Martin had two doubles. Amber Mosley had three hits.
Bath is 11-5, 3-3 in the WBL.
Minster 15, Spencerville 1
MINSTER – Minster stole nine bases in a romp over Spencerville.
Minster’s Hannah Floyd had two triples.
Ottawa-Glandorf 10, Elida 0
ELIDA – Ottawa-Glandorf’s Kylee Pothast threw a no-hitter in six innings over Elida.
Pothast struck out eight and walked four.
The Titans’ Jessie Kreinbrink had three hits, including a double. Hayley Kitchen had a home run and three RBIs. Kelly Selhorst had a home run and two RBIs.
O-G is 9-5, 2-3 in the WBL. Elida is 3-9, 0-4 in the WBL.

Boys tennis
Shawnee 4, Celina 1
SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP – Shawnee won all three singles slots in a victory over Celina.
Sam Rutter, Johnny Rutter and Ryan Barton all had singles wins for the Indians.
Shawnee stands 11-1, 7-0 in the Western Buckeye League. Celina is 10-3, 5-2 in the WBL.
Kenton 3, Bath 2
Kenton edged Bath in a WBL tennis match.
St. Marys 5, Wapakoneta 0
WAPAKONETA – St. Marys had little trouble rolling past Wapakoneta.
Joe Brenneman, Eric Dicke and Matt Frewalt won singles matches for the Roughriders.
Elida 3, Ottawa-Glandorf 2
ELIDA – Elida edged Ottawa-Glandorf in a WBL match at the new Elida High School.
Elida’s Mitch Chavez won at No. 1 singles. The Titans’ Alex Schroeder won at No. 2 singles. Nathan Schmiedebusch won at No. 3 singles for the Titans.
Elida stands 7-4, 5-2 in the WBL. The Titans are 7-3, 5-2 in the WBL.
