‘I will pour out My spirit’

Recently, I returned from the Florida Outpouring in Lakeland, Fla. It has been the talk for some time. The Lord spoke to me to go. So I went and I will never be the same, ever.

The Florida Outpouring is led by revivalist Todd Bentley, who is a man of God who doesn't look like a man of God. Many would look at him and say, how could God use this man? But the Word of God clearly tells us in I Corinthians 1:27-29 "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea the things which are not, to bring to naught things that are; That no flesh should glory in his presence."

God is making sure that flesh of man or woman is not going to steal His glory this time. He is therefore taking things which look foolish to some to bring so much glory to God. One of the keys to revival is humility. God will never use a prideful person to be an instrument for the wonderful things He is doing in this season of the church.

I wish I could describe some of the things I witnessed, but they just cannot be explained. I witnessed so many miracles, and many of those miracles were done in small children. Every night of the revival there were groups of people from more than 30 nations represented. The people from other countries surpassed the Americans present.

God said, "In the last days I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophecy and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams" (Acts 1:17). This revival is affecting the world. Thirteen people have been confirmed raised from the dead as a direct result of this revival. Many people have gotten out of wheelchairs healed by the power of God and bringing proof from their doctors of their miracles.

During the praise and worship, there came a sound out of heaven. It is a sound that I always look for in meetings. It happens when there is a unity, when the voices of 10,000 sounds like one voice, when the heavens open and the angels of God ascend and descend. Every place in the word of God when this happens, the supernatural takes place with signs, wonders and miracles.

This is that place when a group of people comes together in one mind and one spirit. This is a place when your hunger and thirst for God take over. Through that hunger for more of God, heaven comes down to earth and you find yourself in that third dimension anointing, that same place where Adam and Eve were prior to their sin. This is a place where flesh cannot enter. It is all spirit. This is a place when your spirit comes together with the Spirit of God and you kiss and become one.

We reached this place. I was literally pinned to my seat and could not move for some time. The Holy Spirit was sitting upon me, heavy and glorious. We get a picture of this in the book of Acts in the upper room when 120 men and women received the Holy Ghost and spoke in other tongues (Acts 2:1-4.) Those who looked on thought they were drunk with wine. They were, but not natural wine - this was spiritual.

This is what the Kingdom of God is all about: love, joy and peace in the Holy Ghost. These are some of the things that are to take place on a regular basis among believers. God intended for us to be whole. Revival comes to bring healing, deliverance and to revive and restore the people of God.

Men and women from every denomination are coming to this revival in Florida, receiving an impartation of the fire of revival and taking it back to their churches. Fire is breaking out all over the world to the glory of God. We have decided to charter a bus with two other pastors and take our congregations to witness this great movement of the Holy Spirit.
