E. Faye Potter, 84, died Nov. 24, 2009, at her home at the Hardin Crest Apartments in Kenton.
She was born June 28, 1925, in rural McGuffey to Fred and Margaret Carmean Chalfin, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 28, 1942, she married Wilbur J. Potter, who died April 19, 1982.
Mrs. Potter was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Dola.
Survivors include a son, Gerald (Kay) Potter, of Ada; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty (Russell) Boecher, of Forest, and Pauline (Richard) Smith, of Ridgeway.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Judy Potter; and two brothers, Floyd and Robert Chalfin.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. Pastor Charles Horn will officiate. Burial will be in Dola Cemetery, Dola.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hardin County Public Library, Dunkirk, or Hardin County Hospice.
