Norma Lee Immel, 67, died at 4:55 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 15, 1942, in Hazard, Ky., to Jesse James and Dora Rae Huff Caudill, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 15, 1990, she married Guenter Immel, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Immel had been a nursing assistant at Delphos Memorial Home and had been a homemaker. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Spencerville, and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards, games, watching birds, traveling and being with her family.
Survivors also include a son, Lawrence “Jay” (Barb Truesdale) McMinn, of Delphos; four daughters, Christine (B. J.) Shock, of Wapakoneta, Marilee McMinn and Sheri McMinn, both of Delphos, Pamela (Paul) Custer, of Lima; a stepson, Thoresten (Suzanne) Immel, of Ferndorf, Germany; a brother, Donald R. (Martha) Caudill, of Speedwell, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
Memorial contributions may be given to the grandchildren.
Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
