Evelyn J. Music

Wapakoneta - Evelyn J. Music, 66, died at 10:13 p.m. Nov. 18, 2009, at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born Feb. 21, 1943, in Lima to Harold W. and Dorothy Morris Cook. Her father preceded her in death. Her mothers survives in Lima. On June 9, 1963, she married Ermigean Music, who survives in Wapakoneta.

Mrs. Music retired as patient care tech from Lima Memorial Health System after more than 40 years. Following her retirement she worked through Interim Personnel. She was known for her tremendous smile and caring for people. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. She was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370.

Survivors also include three children, Jacqueline (John) Harless and Kimberly Mason, both of Waynesfield, and Kevin Music, of Wapakoneta; three grandchildren, Ashley, Megan and Haley Mason, all of Lima; a great-grandson, Kameron Neal Willis; and a sister, Carolyn Patterson, of Arlington.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home Cridersville. Pastor Tim Striff will officiate. Cremation will follow the service.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
