Shirley L. Moore, 68, died at 10:17 a.m. Dec. 12, 2009, at her residence in rural Kenton.
She was born Dec. 21, 1940, in Alger to John Scott and Hazel Marguerite Brown Wibright, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 14, 1957, she married Clovis Moore, who survives in Kenton.
Mrs. Moore worked in the packing department at Imperial Cup Co. in Kenton, from which she retired after 28 years. She loved to fish, garden and play bingo. She always put everyone before herself.
Survivors include three sons, Rodney Moore, of Kenton, Jeffrey Moore, of Lakeland, Fla., and David Moore, of Kenton; a daughter, Brenda (Patrick) Klee, of Marion; a sister, Imogene (Clyde) Vermillion, of Springfield; and four grandchildren, Mark Klee, Jessica Klee, Jolene Moore and Dustin Moore.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Moore; four brothers, Norman, Sherman, Lester and Vernon Wibright; and a sister, Wilma A. Moore.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Chaplain Vern LaSala will officiate. Burial will be in McDonald Fairview Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hardin County Hospice.
