Cheri and George McGuire

ELIDA — Mr. and Mrs. George McGuire, of Elida, are celebrating 40 years of marriage today, Jan. 29, 2012.
McGuire and the former Cheri Haunhorst were married Jan. 29, 1972, at St. John Catholic Church, by Father John Grossman.
They are the parents of two sons, Matthew (Christi) McGuire, of Lakewood Ranch, Fla. and Brandon (Kristen) McGuire, of Atlanta, Ga. They have two granddaughters.
McGuire is employed by Cornerstone Harvest Church and Heir Force Community School. His wife is employed by Heir Force Community School.
