McCain would be like another Bush
Comments 0 | Recommend 0I am so tired of Republicans saying John McCain will not be another George W. Bush.
Republicans say he will cut the spending. How can he unless he cuts almost all domestic spending because he wants to spend $10,000 a minute in Iraq - since he supports the war and has stated he will keep us there?
How can he improve the economy when his economic policy supports more deregulation of business that provided the start of the housing crisis? How can he work for the middle class when he supports making the Bush tax cuts permanent, which have been shown to make the rich richer? How can McCain be seen as a good decision maker when he talked for months about how Obama has no experience and then selected a person who has nothing more in the way of experience? How would McCain's choices for the Supreme Court be any different than Bush's?
In the most important issues, McCain is in lock step with Bush. Why do Republicans continue to see him differently? Please tell me. I am frustrated that ill-informed voters will be more persuaded by soundbytes and unimportant stories than true policy information, and give us another four years of a Republican administration.
The president has so many appointments. That is also where there will be little change in the bureaucracy if there is a Republican vote. This country cannot take another four years of Republicans who gave us this current economy that is stagnant for the middle class.
People need to see the real change is a vote for Barack Obama and a Democratic program. That is where the real change will come.
