Earl Edward Mandery

Earl Edward Mandery, 92, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Lima, died Jan. 28, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born to Albert and Martha Carder Mandery, who preceded him in death. His loving wife, Hazel Mandery, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Mandery was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired as an inspector from Clark Equipment Co. He was a charter member of Lima Baptist Temple. He was an avid reader and pinochle player, a jazz pianist and Ray Charles fan. He had also lived at the Fiesta Grove RV Resort, Palmetto, Fla.
Survivors include four children, Toni (Ulhas) Kulkarni, Daniel (Priscilla) Mandery, Jonathan Mandery and Wilton Fralick; five grandchildren, Eric (Kristen) Kulkarni, Anita Kulkarni-Krebs, Heather (Keith) Featheringham, Nathan (Lori) Mandery and Robert Earl Fralick; six great-grandchildren, Hope and Caleb Krebs, Tyler and Trey Featheringham, and Rhys and Charlotte Mandery; a brother, Tom Mandery; and a sister, Iona Beach.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Murphy.
Memorial services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lakewood Baptist Church, Louisville, Ky. The Rev. Scott Hughes will officiate.
