Highlights: Where else can you get a three-cheese omelet made with cheddar, mozzarella and blue cheese? Lulu's of course. You'll have trouble deciding whether to order the huge eggs benedict or the homemade Belgian waffles. All of the food is made fresh — nothing is frozen — and the great service keeps the customers returning. Watch for a new location on the east side of Lima coming in August.

2. Bob Evans, region

Location: 1810 Harding Highway and 1530 N. Cable Road

Hours: Harding Highway: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Cable Road: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Highlights: Stop for a delicious biscuit bowl or a traditional breakfast at Bob Evans Restaurant. If you are looking for lighter fare, order the fruit and yogurt crepe with Quaker oatmeal. This delicious crepe is filled with strawberry yogurt and topped with blueberries, bananas, strawberries and honey-roasted pecans and served with a delicious bowl of oatmeal.

3. IHOP, Lima

Hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, 6 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday

Highlights: Summer means delicious sweet treats so head to IHOP for a delicious summer treat of fruit topped funnel cakes. Having a hard time choosing? Try the split decision breakfast of two eggs, two slices of bacon, two sausage links, two triangles of French toast and two buttermilk pancakes. You'll be fueled until dinner time.
