Mary B. Lamb

Mary B. Lamb, 81, formerly of Ada, died at 7:42 a.m. Oct. 7, 2009, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born July 11, 1928, in Lima to Ervin and Hazel L. Basil Hill, who preceded her in death. On May 22, 1948, she married Joseph K. Lamb, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Lamb had been manager of Wohl Shoe Co., Lima. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lima, and Only Believe Ministries, Botkins. She was a graduate of Lafayette-Jackson High School. She attended Northwest Business College, Lima. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9381 Auxiliary, Ada.
Survivors also include a son, Dennis Lamb, of North Lewisburg; two daughters, Debra Lamb, of Mansfield, and Robin Weight, of Lima; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren; two brothers, Ervin Jr. and Clair H. Hill; and a sister, Geraldine Reynolds.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Ed Ingram will officiate. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation.
