Raymond B. Kidd 95th birthday

LIMA — Raymond M. Kidd will celebrate his 95th birthday on Dec. 12, 2011. In his honor, a gathering will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at Biggies, 116 E. Main St., Cairo.
He was born Dec. 12, 1916, in Columbus Grove to Benjamon L. and Mary Grace Marshall Kidd. His wife of 35 years, Jean Kidd, died in 1991.
Mr. Kidd has a daughter, Brenda J. Ketcham of Lima, with whom he resides. A son, Gary Dean Kidd, is deceased.
He is retired from Teledyne Steel. For years, Mr. Kidd and his wife traveled from coast to coast, and belonged to Sam's Travel Club. They also enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and gardening. He continues to love being outdoors, as well as spending time with family and friends.
