Lloyd E. Kelch

St. Marys - Lloyd E. Kelch, 88, died Dec. 11, 2009, at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus.
He was born June 16, 1921, in Versailles to Adam and Anna Mae Boomershine Kelch, who preceded him in death. He married Annabelle Kley, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Kelch was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He retired as a supervisor from Goodyear Tire Co., St. Marys, after more than 36 years. He was an avid fisherman and fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes football and basketball. He has now gone to be with the Lord.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann McElroy, of Pickerington; two grandchildren, Brian (Tara) McElroy, of Worthington, and Craig (Jeanna) McElroy, of Pickerington; five great-grandchildren, Tiernan, Dolan and Dahlia McElroy and Luke and Emma McElroy; a brother, John Kelch, of Greenville; a sister, Wanda Brewer, of Ansonia; his best friend, Rolla Werts; and several nieces, nephews and several dear friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Kelch; a brother-in-law, Glenn Brewer; and a sister-in-law, Doris Kelch.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Eastview United Methodist Church, Whitehall. Pastor Dwayne Shugert will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Cemetery, Versailles.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, Pickerington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastview United Methodist Church Food Pantry or the American Heart Association.
