Christina and Roger Johns

LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Roger A. Johns, of Lima, will celebrate 65 years of marriage Feb. 8, 2012. A family dinner is planned.
Johns and the former Christina M. Hooker were married Feb. 8, 1947, at the bride's home, in Lima, by the bride's mother, the Rev. Hulda Hooker.
They are the parents of four sons, Joe M. Johns and Kevin W. (Beth) Johns, both of Lima, Dan R. Johns, of Dayton and Robert E. (Patricia) Johns, of Elida; and three daughters, Pamela K. (Charles) Burnett and Sheryl A. (Richard) Bentley, both of Lima and Laura L. (Bill) Clark, of Elida. One son, Terry Johns, is deceased. They have 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Johns is retired from the City of Lima Water Distribution Dept. His wife is retired from Superior Metal Products.
