Beulah E. Graham, 70, died at 12:10 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008, at her residence.

She was born June 20, 1938, in Lima to Arthur E. and M. Maxine Truesdale Swickrath, who preceded her in death. On May 20, 1956, she married Thomas H. "Tom" Graham, who was killed on Feb. 3, 1994, in a flat grain storage building in Uniopolis.

Mrs. Graham was a member of Perry United Methodist Church, where she was known by many as "the craft lady" at the vacation Bible schools. She was a founder and board member of Perry Township Historical Society. She was active in the PTA and the boosters in the 1970s and 1980s. She was a 1956 graduate of Spencerville High School. She was an artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. She contributed her time and money to the community and always had a helping had for those in need.

Survivors include a son, Thomas A. "Tom" (Michelle) Graham, of Cridersville; two grandchildren, Steven Thomas Graham and Lacilynn Frances Graham; two stepgrandchildren, Michael Alonzo and Andrew Crozier; two brothers, John (Karen) Swickrath, of Spencerville, and Tom (Deb) Swickrath, of Lima; a sister, Jean (Bill) Bell, of Elida; and a sister-in-law, Angie Swickrath, of Mount Holly, N.C.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Ed Swickrath.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Randy Fruchey will officiate.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to  8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
