Christian concert welcome at fair

I want to give the Allen County Fair Board a pat on the back for a job well done. I recently visited the fair, as I do every year. This time, however, I was going to see a performance by Skillet, among other good bands.

Upon hearing of this event, I was surprised and pleased that the fair board welcomed Christian rock bands to a venue of such magnitude. I know popular bands have been invited before, but they have been placed in a small tent across the fairgrounds. It was most enjoyable to be in a comfortable setting and listen to good, clean, Christian music from fine performers.

I also enjoyed not having to pay a lot to attend such an event. I considered going to other performances during this fair season, but when admission, food and entertainment were considered, it racked up quite the bill. Attending the Christian rock concert was affordable and most enjoyable, and I appreciated the fact that some of the proceeds were going toward good charities. So, thank you very much, Allen County Fair Board, for rejuvenating the fair for me and others once again.
