Best thing at the Allen County Fair
1. Food
What's the best part of any fair? The fare! How many wonderful things can the concessions people think of to put on a stick? Meatballs, pineapple, Snickers bars, cheesecake or even pork chops. Go ahead, enjoy. You'll be able to walk off the pounds while touring the fair after you eat.
2. Concerts
Do the initials BTR give you goose bumps? Big Time Rush will be in concert at the Allen County Fair Aug. 21. This band is growing nationally in popularity and Kendall, James, Logan and Carlos will be right here in our own backyards. Mark your calendar now.
3. Agriculture
County fairs and agriculture are one in the same. For many of us, it's the only time of year we get a chance to check out the livestock and take a peek in the lives of many dedicated 4-H young adults who care for them.
