Vivian Ewing, 89, died Jan. 26, 2012, at her daughter's residence in New Hampshire, Ohio.
She was born Nov. 9, 1922, in Lima to William Henry and Rena Silvers Snow, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 24, 1942, she married Harry C. Ewing Sr., who died Dec. 4, 1982.
Mrs. Ewing was a member of Westminster United Methodist Church for almost 50 years.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony K. (Luana) Ewing and Stephen G. (Amy) Ewing, both of Harrod; a daughter, Kathaleen K. (Jerry) Weeks Sr., of New Hampshire, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Karen Ewing, of Lima; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esther Dumm.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harry C. Ewing Jr.; and three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Pastor David J. Burkhart will officiate.
A private family visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster United Methodist Church or Tri-County Hospice.
