Van Wert

C. Edward "Ed" Kanney, 92, died at 11:20 a.m. July 24, 2008, at Convoy Care Center, Convoy.

Services will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 and American Legion Post 178.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's research or the Van Wert Area Visiting Nurses.
