Donald E. Dye Jr.
Lima
Donald E. Dye Jr., 40, died at 12:02 p.m. Feb. 5, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born on Dec. 7, 1971, in Lima to Donald E. and M. Jane Ruch Dye Sr. His father and stepmother, Lisa Dye, survive in Lima. His mother preceded him in death.
Mr. Dye worked at Rigali's Pizza Village for more than 18 years. He enjoyed his family, bowling, golfing and fishing.
Survivors also include two daughters, Ashelly Dye and Mindy Dye, both of Lima; three sisters, Mary Angel, Dawn Angel and Katrina Van Horn: his former wife, Julie Taylor Dye, of Lima; his girlfriend, Dana Reed, of Lima; and two stepsiblings, James Elliott, of Lima, and Tiffany Mills, of Sweet Home, Ore.
He was preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy Smith.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Pastor Arnold Wright will officiate.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
