    Ada B. DeSote

    CONTINENTAL

    Ada B. DeSote, 74, died at 11:43 a.m. July 23, 2008, at Brookview Nursing Home, Defiance.

    She was born July 11, 1934, to John and Mary Metcalf, who preceded her in death. She married Bernard DeSote, who died Jan. 15, 2000.

    Mrs. DeSote was a homemaker. She was a member of TOPS, Continental.

    Survivors include two sons, Timothy (Janet) DeSote and Thomas DeSote, both of Continental; three daughters, Tamara Colley, of Arizona, Jackie Miller, of Columbus Grove, and Mary Ellis, of Lima; and seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother and three sisters.

    She was preceded in death by a son, Bernard Eugene DeSote; and a brother, a sister and two grandchildren.

    Services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental. Pastor Ray Newsome will officiate. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.

    Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
