Lillian Carol Dawson

Lillian Carol Dawson, 68, died at 3:30 a.m. May 14, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 18, 1939, in Ashland City, Tenn., to William and Jeanne Ann Tenner, who preceded her in death. She married John Dawson, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dawson had been a piano builder at Ivers & Pond Piano Co. She enjoyed sewing and knitting.
Survivors include three sons, Ulice Dugger, of Omaha, Neb., and Franklin D. (Dorothy) Dugger and Frederick D. Edwards, both of Memphis, Tenn.; seven daughters, Paulette (A.C.) Hines, of Houston, Texas, Lillian (Ray) Hamilton-Tolliver, Juanita Hamilton, Glenda (Henry) Robertson, Thelma Tate and Loreeda (Andre) Smith, all of Memphis, and Phoebe J. (David) Johnson, of Lima; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Draper, of Memphis, Tenn.; and two sisters, Jacqueline Towns, of Batesville, Miss., and Shirley (Billy) Clark, of Memphis, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by a child, two sisters and three brothers.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Johnson will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
