    Levia Mae Cousey, 72, died at 12:55 p.m. Oct. 4, 2008, at Lima Convalescent Home surrounded by her family.

    She was born Feb. 20, 1936, in Ruleville, Miss., to Chester Arthur Sr. and Estella Andrews Dishmon, who preceded her in death. She married Norise Cousey Sr., who died Feb. 22, 1973.

    Mrs. Cousey moved to Lima in 1956 and united with Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lima.

    Survivors include eight sons, Frank (Iris) Cousey, Ronald (Dorothy) Cousey, Norise Cousey Jr., David (Diane) Cousey, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Cousey, Greg (Deb) Cousey, and Mark (Tracey) Cousey, all of Lima, and Ray (Teena) Cousey, of Savannah, Ga.; three daughters, Martha Jean (James) McGriff and Glenda Phillips, both of Lima, Tammy Cousey, of Salt Lake City; 26 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 15 siblings, Lewis (Bobbie) Anderson, of Detroit, Billy (Queen Ester) Payne, Truman (Susan) Morgan and Bishop Robert (Freddie) White, all of Anderson, Ind., Chester Dishmon and Howard Dishmon, both of Indianapolis, Harold (Vanessa) Dishmon, of Anderson, Ind., Robert Dishmon, of Columbus, Miss., Ann Bryson, of St. Paul, Minn., Willa Morrison, of Tulsa, Okla., Patsy Dishmon and JoAnn Dishmon, both of Omaha, Neb., Harry Dishmon, of Terre Haute, Ind., John (Cora) Riley, of Detroit, and Georgia Sibley, of Ruleville, Miss.

    She was preceded in death by a son, Henry Lee Dishmon; a daughter, Brenda Cousey; and seven siblings Joe Riley, Peter Riley, the Rev. Willie J. Riley, William Riley, Cleothus Dishmon, Martha Smith and Ora J. Dishmon.

    Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Michael Skinner will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

    Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

    Instead of flowers, make memorial contributions to her children.
