Fort Jennings - Lois E. Bullinger, 82, died at 4:07 p.m. Dec. 10, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Custar to Myers L. and Ethel Myers Saxton, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 24, 1949, she married Robert S. Bullinger, who died Nov. 6, 2003.
Mrs. Bullinger retired in 1993, as a seamstress from The Drapery Stitch, Delphos, after 25 years. She was a 1946 graduate of Grover Hill High School, Grover Hill. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Jennings. She enjoyed playing bingo, listening to Lawrence Welk and watching game shows.
Survivors include a son, Randy (Karen) Bullinger, of Van Wert; a son-in-law, Mike Brinkman, of Fort Jennings; six grandchildren, Jason J. (Ehmie) Bullinger, April L. (Todd) Warren, Amy M. (Frank) Bailey, Trish (Shane) Moening, Miranda K. (Arthur) Leatherman and Perry (Dee Schnipke) Brinkman; two great-grandchildren, Paige Bailey and Mackenzie Leatherman, with two more on the way; and a sister, Doris Baksa, of Paulding.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosalie Brinkman; an infant son, Rodney Bullinger; a sister, Mabel Bland; and a brother Vernon Saxton.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Jennings. Father Joseph Pryzbysz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Barbara Cemetery, Cloverdale
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Jackson Township, where a Scripture service will be held at 3:30 p.m., and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
