LIMA — Jennifer Lea Rogers and Ryan Michael Mazur exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m., July 2, 2011, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Parents of the bride are Joe and Sandy Rogers of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
Parents of the groom are Thomas and Shelly Mazur, of Lima.
The bride wore a full length white satin strapless gown with a fitted horizontal banded bodice. The gown featured feather light tier layers of sheer organza and had a modern cathedral length train. She wore a cathedral veil and carried a bouquet of daisies and mums.
Bridesmaids were Jillian Zadel-Scau and Jenny Arnett, best friends of the bride.
Best man was 1LT Jonathan Evans, friend of the groom.
Music was provided by a violin-cello duet
The reception was held at the Double Tree Hotel; the after party was held at The Broadmoor, also in Colorado Springs.
The bride is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School and the University of Toledo with a BSN degree in Health Science. She is employed as a 2LT in the 684th ASMC in the U.S. ARNG presently stationed in Shindand Afghanistan.
Her fiance is a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School and the University of Toledo with a BS in Accounting. He is employed as a 2LT in the US Army, 10th Group Special Forces, at Fort Carson, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The couple will reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
