Troy Alan Ball, 43, died at 5:10 p.m. Feb. 13, 2012, at his residence.
He was born March 21, 1968, in Lima to Bryan and MaryAnn McKillip Ball, who survive in Spencerville.
Mr. Ball worked at Procter & Gamble. He was a 1986 graduate of Spencerville High School, Spencerville where he played football for the Bearcats. He was the lead singer for the bands Riff Raff, Backlash, Plastic Sunshine and Jade. He also sang backup in a Procter & Gamble commercial.
Survivors also include his fiancée, Darcey M. Keene, of Elida; three siblings, Christal (Charles) Etzkorn, of Spencerville, Bryan M. (Gregory Fisher) McMichael, of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and Mindy M. (Aaron) Wehner, of London, Ohio; and six nieces and nephews, Brooke Etzkorn, Ava Wehner, Lauren Etzkorn, Collin Etzkorn, Ivan Wehner and Maxton Wehner.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. The Rev. Jacob Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
