Linda K. Seymour

Linda K. Seymour, 66, died at 5:24 a.m. March 6, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born Feb. 8, 1945, in Lima to M. Hershel and Wilna C. Curl Staley, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 4, 1984, she married Robert “Bob” Seymour Jr., who survives in Ada.

Mrs. Seymour was co-owner and operator of Health Trends, Ada, for 20 years. She had worked as a football lacer at Wilson Sporting Goods, Ada. She attended Crossroads Church of God, Lima, where she taught preschool Sunday school and vacation Bible school for several years. She loved to exercising and enjoyed flying with her husband in their plane and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She had been married to Andrew M. Pitts, who is the father of her three children.

Survivors also include two sons, Alan M. (Constance) Pitts, of Columbus, and Jason L. (Patricia) Pitts, of Phoenix; a daughter, Shelly Pitts, of Ada; three grandchildren, Abbigail Tarr, Rianne Pitts and Zoe Pitts; two stepgrandchildren, Nick Koss and Cati Odeh; six stepgreat-grandchildren, Violet, Claire, Tarik, Kaycee, Kaylee and Taylor; a sister, Deanna (Phil) Bresler, of Bloomdale; three brothers, Donald (Linda) Staley, of Bluffton, and Eldon (Karen) Staley and William “Ray” (Pat) Staley, both of Ada; a sister-in-law, Barbara A. Lawrence, of Westerville; father-in-law, Robert L. Seymour, of Forest; a brother-in-law, David C. Seymour, of Forest; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald L. Staley.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Crossroads Church of God, Lima. The Rev. Garland Wilkerson and Pastor Randy Bargerestock will officiate. Following the service, she will be cremated, with the cremains being buried with a private service at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.
