James Teela Pifer, 76, of Fanning Springs, Fla., formerly of Ada, died at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 9, 2009, in Columbia, Ga.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Pastor G. Alan Brown II will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
