Audrey Joan Kruger, 74, died Dec. 1, 2008, at her residence.

He was born April 19, 1934, to Walter and Helen Barhorst Francis, who preceded her in death. On July 21, 1958, she married Andrew Richard Kruger, who died Oct. 8, 1986.

Mrs. Kruger was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was a member of the Luther Pines community.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara (Benjamin) Vanhorn, of Lima; a son, Bill (Brenda) Kruger, of Lima; five grandchildren, David Johnston, Heather Johnson, Brenden Vanhorn, Brooke Vanhorn and Brayden Vanhorn; two great-grandchildren, Kylie Johnson and Wyliam Bowden; and her beloved cat, Moses.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Kruger, who died Nov. 19, 1956.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Father James McDonnell will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, where a Parish Wake service will be held at 7 p.m.
