Rosella E. Saddler

Rosella E. Saddler, 87, of Troy, formerly of Lima, died at 3:17 a.m. Nov. 30, 2008, at Harborside Health Care, Troy.
She was born Sept. 29, 1921, in Bellefontaine to Walter Williams and Harriett Williams Helmig, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 8, 1938, she married Richard W. Saddler, who died Nov. 10, 1998.
Mrs. Saddler had been a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed going camping.
Survivors include a son, William (Lynn) Saddler, of Piqua; two daughters, Barbara Huffer, of South Bend, Ind., and Shelley (Gary) Yost, of Faith, N.C.; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Cockrell; and her stepfather, Fay J. Helmig.
Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Matthew Cemetery, Lima. Pastor Howard Allison.
There will be no public visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
