Area heroes will battle mud pits, rope walls, stacked tires, balance beams, tunnel slides, and more Saturday, July 19, at The Mud Dog Challenge obstacle course to help Heroes in Action raise funds that will help provide care packages to American service members stationed overseas and to the wounded at home.
The Mud Dog Challenge course, located at 10631 Airport Highway in Swanton, is a fun, family-oriented obstacle course where participants will get wet, muddy, and be challenged to conquer more than 20 obstacles over the course of three miles while having the time of their lives. Participants do not have to be physically fit, but they do need to come with the goal of having fun and raising much needed funds and awareness for the men and women currently serving our great nation.
“The Mud Dog Challenge course offers a great training ground to prepare for the Tough Mudder or Spartan Races. But more than that, our course is a great time for everybody of every fitness level,” said Julie Earnest, Vice President at E3 Events, LLC and Mud Dog Challenge owner. “The partnership between The Mud Dog Challenge and Heroes in Action is a natural one. Come out, wear some camouflage (or at least something comfortable), and support our men and women in uniform. You will have great time!”
