St. Marys coach gets 500th career victory

NEW KNOXVILLE - St. Marys coach Dan Hegemier won his 500th career game to become the 44th boys coach in OHSAA history to reach that milestone as St. Marys defeated New Knoxville 49-46.

Isaac Fitzgerald had 10 points to lead the Roughriders.

Fremont St. Joseph 39

FREMONT - Andy Grothouse had 17 points, Tyler Conley had 11 and Alex Odenweller had 10 for the Blue Jays.

Ottawa-Glandorf 62, Archbold 56

OTTAWA - Alex Schroeder had 14 points, Cody Alt had 12 and Zack Kuhlman had 11 for the Titans.

Delphos Jefferson 50, Parkway 49

ROCKFORD - Trey Smith had 20 points and Austin Jettinghoff had 12 for the Wildcats in the Chatt Insurance Holiday Tournament. Brant Bama had 15 points , Matt Heindel had 13 and Tanner Bates had 11 for the Panthers.

Delphos Jefferson will play Finneytown, a 78-69 winner over Fairlawn in the other tourney game, in the championship game tonight and Parkway will play Fairlawn in the consolation contest.

Kalida 63, Ada 48

ADA - Randy Zeller had 23 points, Cole Miller had 11 and Luke Langhals had 10 for Kalida.

Grant McBride had 20 points and Blake Willeke had 10 for the Bulldogs.

Temple Christian 45,

Pandora-Gilboa 36

PANDORA - Taylor Zwiebel had 11 points for the Pioneers. Jared Tousley had nine points to lead the Rockets.

Crestview 60, Miller City 38

CONVOY - Damian Helm had 16 points and Tyson Bolenbaugh had 14 for the Knights. Adam Niese had 13 points and Jackson Lammers had 10 for the Wildcats.

Spencerville 62, Ottoville 53

SPENCERVILLE - Ben Bowers had 27 points and Zach Goecke had 14 for the Bearcats. Austin Honigford had 17 points and Luke Schimmoeller had 10 for Ottoville.

New Bremen 69, Indian Lake 55

NEW BREMEN - Nolan Fox had 26 points, Carson Manger had 13 and Ben Homan had 12 for the Cardinals. Christian Grider had 20 points and Brennon Lump had 11 for Indian Lake.

Coldwater tourney

COLDWATER - Marion Local defeated Coldwater 63-46 and Celina beat St. Henry 53-51 in overtime to advance to the championship game of the Asset Allocation Associates Varsity Boys Basketball Holiday Classic.

Coldwater will play St. Henry and 6 p.m. game to be followed by Celina and Marion Local in the championship.

Bluffton tourney

BLUFFTON - Arlington defeated Allen East 52-34 and Bluffton defeated Cory Rawson 61-41 Friday night in the McDonald’s Holiday Tournament.

Arlington will face Bluffton in the Championship game, immediately following the consolation game between Allen East and Cory Rawson at 6 p.m.
