When Coldwater has the ball: Coldwater, seeded fifth in the region, closed out its regular season with a 42-14 victory over Fort Recovery. Against Fort Recovery, the Cavaliers rushed for 127 yards and passed for another 117. Quarterback Brody Hoying rushed for 77 yards on just three carries and two TDs, including a 47-yard TD run. Hoying was 5-of-7 passing for 114 yards and three scores. Coldwater is scoring 33.2 points per game.

Eastwood, seeded fourth, is giving up just 14.3 points per contest.

When Eastwood has the ball: In last week’s 47-13 win over Otsego, Eastwood rushed for 353 yards and five TDs. Devin Snowden led Eastwood with 163 yards on 22 carries and a TD. Grant Geiser added 91 yards on 10 carries and two scores.

Eastwood is scoring 41.6 points per game.

Coldwater’s defense has been stellar, giving up just 13.7 points per outing.
