OTTAWA — Shalynn Ann Fortman and David Douglas Loudenslager were married at 6:30 p.m., April 27, 2013 on the beach at Casa Marina in Key West Fla. by the Rev. Steve Torrence.
Parents of the bride are Catherine and John Fortman, of Ottawa. Parents of the groom are Barbara and Doug Loudenslager, of Columbus.
The bride wore a V-neck sleeveless organza and lace dress with hand-beaded lace bodice with rouched organza midriff with slim skirt and scalloped hemline. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas.
Maid of honor was the couple’s friend, Heather McGlaughlin, of Ottawa. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister-in-law, Branden Fortman, of Bluffton, the groom’s sister, Jennifer Loudenslager, of Xenia, and the couple’s friends Jessica Fields, of Columbus, Amber Maidment, of Pittsburgh, Penn. and Holly Unterbrink, of Naperville, Ill.
Best man was the couple’s friend, Blake Buhl, of Indianapolis, Ind. Groomsmen included the bride’s brothers, Jonathan Fortman, of Bluffton and Zack Fortman, of Ottawa, the groom’s brother, Chris Loudenslager, of West Lafayette, Ind., and friends of the couple, Bryan Walker, of Columbus and Kevin Unterbrink, of Naperville, Ill.
A steel drum band played outside during the cocktail hour. Then dinner and dancing for approximately 100 guests followed on the deck and inside of the Casa Marina Resort.
The bride is a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and Bowling Green State University with a business marketing degree. She is employed by the Florida Yacht Brokers Association, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Her husband is a graduate of Van Wert High School and The Ohio State University with a construction management degree. He is employed as a project manager for Duke Realty in Weston, Fla.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Kauai and Maui.
They reside in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
