LIMA — “There is a special feel to an Oldsmobile,” read the tag-line on Oldsmobile’s brochures for the 1984 model year. The Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was a mid-sized car produced during the 1966 through 1997 model years. Oldsmobile had a reputation for selling quality cars, so owning an Oldsmobile became a status symbol for the middle class. The Cutlass was one of Oldsmobile’s most popular cars. In 1981, the Cutlass Supreme coupe received a restyle, with a shovel-nose type front design. This made the car more aerodynamic.
Pat Sandoe, of Lima, owns this clean 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass, which he showed at the Charity Car Show. This Olds has only 11,767 miles on it and has a Corvette motor in it. Sandoe found the car in Hawaii, and brought it back stateside. He enjoys showing this beauty off.
