LIMA — Autopsies on two brothers found dead last week have been completed, but a prosecutor would not release details Monday into what likely are homicides.
Assistant Putnam County Prosecutor Todd Schroeder said Monday he does not have the autopsy reports yet. He plans to get the reports and examine police investigation records this week.
“We will be reviewing all information,” Schroeder said.
Blake Romes, 17, and Blaine Romes, 14, were found dead Thursday. Blake's body was discovered under the trailer in Ottawa where they lived with their mother. Blaine's body was found in a ditch on a rural road.
Police have in custody Michael Aaron Fay, 17, on the charge of auto theft. Schroeder said in court last week it’s possible Fay will face a lot more serious charges.
Schroeder would not go into potential charges Monday. We was not prepared to discuss the case or possible charges.
Fay is expected to be charged in the deaths of the two brothers. He was captured Thursday in Columbus after fleeing Ottawa. He told police where to find the brothers' bodies.
Fay lived with his mother, the Romes brothers and their mother in the trailer.
