Jane S. Good , 90, died at 8:54 p.m. May 06, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Jane was born Nov. 19, 1922, in Elida to Sherman Swartz and Lydia Stemen Swartz. On Oct. 08, 1949, she married Albert Good, who survives.
She was a long time member of Salem Mennonite Church, Elida, where she was active as a chorister, Sunday school teacher and women’s fellowship group. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, quilting, traveling and was an avid reader. She volunteered at The Et Cetera Shop. She retired from Webb Insurance.
She is survived by a daughter, Carmen (Dan) Mullane; a son, Marlin (Anita) Good, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Jill Good, of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren, Christine Stauffer, Greg Mullane, Erin Good, Loren Good, Jeena Caywood, Jessica Chattman and Trey Good; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Bertha Whitcher, of Texas; and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Salem Mennonite Church, Elida. The Rev. Paula Snyder Belousek will officiate. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Elida.
