Vote ‘yes’ to keep Elida strong
Strong schools help create strong communities.
More than 20 years ago, my husband and I decided to move into the Elida school district. We now have two children in the school system, and will continue to support Elida schools even after they graduate.
For the most part, we have been met with positive, caring role models from teachers. The staff is informative and personable. We have also met a great group of diverse and dedicated parents, with polite and friendly children.
Elida has its finances in line. It is making do with what it has, and yet is still providing excellent educations. Unfortunately, Elida’s revenues are declining. A ‘yes’ vote will help keep Elida providing quality educations. A ‘no’ vote will bring even more cuts.
If we don’t support this levy, how are we going to compete with other school districts? How will we attract new families to the community? Do we want our property values to decline? We need to think long-term.
Do you care about this community and its future? Now is the time to come together and show our support, our Bulldog pride.
Vote ‘yes,’ because strong communities help create strong schools.
