Elida residents getting sound financial info

I am an Elida resident, taxpayer and mother of an Elida student and one Elida alumnus. I also happen to work for Elida Local Schools Treasurer, Joel Parker.

For any district residents who wonder about our financial data, let me inform you that Mr. Parker is honest, ethical, factual. He was recently singled out and awarded the Foundation for School Business Management Annual Chuck Gossett Memorial Scholarship. He was presented the award in Columbus at the Annual OASBO (Ohio Association of School Business Officials) Annual Workshop. The scholarship, named for the late OASBO President Emeritus, recognizes one Ohio school district treasurer for outstanding service to the profession during his/her career. As a result of his excellence, an Elida High School student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Get the financial facts about Elida Local Schools from a source that you can trust. If you have any lingering questions or doubts about the upcoming school levies, please call Mr. Joel Parker at 419-331-4155. Vote for the Elida School permanent improvement renewal levy and the emergency levy new money request. Thank you.

Michele Boroff, Elida
