Driver with bad license rear-ends car

HANCOCK COUNTY A driver rear-ended another vehicle in a two-car accident Monday afternoon.



The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 2:30 p.m. Charles Ball, 33, of Fostoria, was traveling westbound on state Route 12 and struck Christopher Silver, 24, of Risingsun, near Township Road 238, while Silver was slowing down to make a turn.



Silver’s passengers, including two toddlers, were checked for injuries. Crystal Silver, 22, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for possible injuries.



Ball was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance and for having an invalid driver’s license.
