ELIDA — Kaycee Rowe turned in a big afternoon and Allen East’s girls basketball team beat non-league host Elida 67-36 on Saturday.
Allen East zipped out to an 11-4 lead after one quarter and turned it on in the third with a 21-8 run in the period. Rowe finished with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the Mustangs, Morgan Truex scored 13 points and Jadin Salyers had 10 points. Kyle Downton scored 9 points for Elida and Torie McAdams scored 6 points and pulled down 8 rebounds.
Columbus Grove 47, Miller City 43
MILLER CITY — Kyrah Yinger scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds as Grove won the PCL game at Miller City. Sydney McCluer and Megan Verhoff both had 8 points for Grove (4-11, 1-4). Melissa Michel had 20 points and 4 boards for Miller City (2-13, 0-5) and Haley Lammers scored 10 points.
Waynesfield-Goshen 58, Spencerville 43
WAYNESFIELD — Kaylee Patton scored 30 points, shooting 20-of-27 from the free throw line, and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Tigers to the non-league win. Abbie Vanhorn had 9 points and 8 rebounds for W-G (10-5). Kerri Purdy scored 12 points for Spencerville.
Crestview 65, Delphos St. John’s 53
DELPHOS — Crestview hit 20-of-34 shots from the field (58.8 percent), including 5-of-11 from 3-point land en route to the win. The Knights outscored St. John’s 15-2 in the second quarter.
Emily Bauer had 21 points and 10 rebounds for Crestview, Lindsey Motycka had 12 points and Mackenzie Riggenbach scored 10 points. Katie Vorst had 15 points for St. John’s, Jessica Recker had 12 points and Emilie Fischbach added 10 points.
Coldwater 46, St. Marys 37
ST. MARYS — Sarah Kanney’s 12 points paced Coldwater, which improved to 10-5 with the nonleague win. Bridget Dues scored 11 points for the Cavaliers and Megan Muhlenkamp had 10 points. Molly Albert scored 15 points for St. Marys.
McComb 74, Ada 54
ADA — Taylor Willeke scored 21 points for Ada in the loss. Tori Wyss had 10 points and 9 rebounds for Ada while Alexis Amburgey scored 9 points.
Pandora-Gilboa 58, Bluffton 54
BLUFFTON — Ashley Williams finished with 16 points and the Rockets won the nonleague game at Bluffton.
Keri Conine scored 15 points for P-G and Hunter Hermiller scored 14 points. Sarah Schriner scored 16 points for Bluffton, Sierra Amstutz scored 13 and Anna Crisp scored 11 points.
Leipsic 59, Continental 50
CONTINENTAL — Haley Gerten’s 21 points paced the Vikings to the win. Amber Gerdeman scored 16 points for Leipsic and both Shalynn Morman and Kelly Nadler scored 11 points apiece. Vanessa Koppenhofer scored 15 points for Continental while Paige Ordway and Taylor Williamson scored 12 points each.
New Knoxville 54, Jackson Center 40
JACKSON CENTER — Haley Horstman finished with 16 points for the Rangers in the win. Catlin Magato scored 12 points for New Knoxville and Meg Reineke finished with 10 points.
Columbus Grove 39, Kalida 36
COLUMBUS GROVE — Kalida led 27-25 heading into the fourth quarter before Grove outscored its visiting foe 16-9 in the final period for the Putnam County League win.
Will Vorhees scored 12 points for Grove (8-5, 3-1) while Dakota Vogt had 8 points and Derek Rieman had 10 rebounds. Austin Horstman had 17 points for Kalida and Cody Mathew scored 13 points.
Bowling Green 70, Elida 63
BOWLING GREEN — Dakota Mathias finished with a game-high 30 points but Elida fell in non-league action at BG. Louis Gray scored 15 points for the Bulldogs (9-5) and Marquevious Wilson had 7 points. Bowling Green improved to 6-8.
Allen East 76, Hardin Northern 35
DOLA — Allen East started the game with a 26-2 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Tanner Richardson scored 23 points for Allen East, Bryden Davis had 13 points and Tyler Friesner had 12 points. Hayden Bradley scored 11 points for Hardin Northern.
Pandora-Gilboa 59, Delphos Jefferson 53
DELPHOS — Seth Schmenk scored a team-high 24 points for the Rockets who traveled to Delphos for the non-league win. Jared Triplehorn scored 13 points for P-G and Abe Basinger scored 10 points. Trey Smith scored a game-high 27 points for Jefferson and Austin Jettinghoff had 12 points.
Wayne Trace 79, Shawnee 65
HAVILAND — Trey Brock scored a team-high 22 points for Shawnee in the non-league road loss. Shawnee fell to 1-12 overall while Wayne Trace is 11-1.
Thad Vernon and Marquis Miller scored 11 points.
Miller City 51, Temple Christian 49
MILLER CITY — Ross Kaufman scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for Miller City, which held off visiting Temple.
Austin Lammers scored 13 points for Miller City. Justin Kroehler had 17 points and 11 boards for Temple and both Evan Sutton and Andrew Rhoad scored 12 points.
Lincolnview 43, Antwerp 40
ANTWERP — Kyle Williams scored 16 points to lead the Lancers to the non-league win. Lincolnview improves to 5-10. Justis Dowdy and Kade Carey each had 10 points for the Lancers.
St. Marys 72, Parkway 53
ROCKFORD — Austin James netted a game-high 21 points and St. Marys used a 16-3 second-quarter run en route to the non-league win. Garet Fledderjohann scored 20 points and Quinn Zaerr had 16 points for St. Marys. Matt Heindel scored 16 points for Parkway and Austin Dennison had 13 points.
Van Wert 45, Bryan 32
VAN WERT — A.J. Smith turned in 17 points for the Cougars, who outscored Bryan 10-2 in the fourth quarter to put the win away. Kyle Keber scored 10 points for Van Wert (8-5) and Matt Bidlack scored 8 points.
Liberty-Benton 32, Ottoville 19
BENTON RIDGE — John Darnall was the lone double-digit scoring, netting 10 points for L-B (11-1) in the win over visiting Ottoville. Brandt Landin had 6 points for the Big Green (6-9).
