Police calls for Wednesday, Dec. 26

Police calls as of 9:23 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26 from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and the Lima Police Department:

500 block of West Elm Street, Lima — On Tuesday, a 30-year-old man reported he had a black laptop computer sitting on his bed at Mary Alice House, and when he returned, someone had stolen it.

800 block of East Vine Street, Lima — A 50-year-old woman said her niece’s boyfriend was over visiting for Christmas, and she believes he stole the last three cans of her Diet Dr. Thunder pop on Tuesday. She said this upset her because she is addicted to the caffeine in the pop and doesn’t have money to buy more, and she said she intends to press charges.

2450 Allentown Road, Lima — A 22-year-old woman was arrested after a Walmart employee reported that she attempted to steal three stocking caps, sleepwear, underwear, a men’s jacket, toys, a 3D puzzle, boys’ socks and Hanes undergarments on Monday.
