Police calls as of 10:18 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and the Lima Police Department:
200 block of East Fourth Street, Lima — On Tuesday, a 26-year-old woman reported she noticed a hole in the back window of her car when she got home from work.
3200 block of Hadsell Road, Lima — A 25-year-old man said there was someone he didn’t know standing behind his dad’s barn on Tuesday.
1100 block of Simons Avenue, Lima — On Tuesday, a man said someone took a large black tool bag that contained three pipe wrenches, a nut driver set, crescent wrenches, channel locks, a drain cleaner attachment, a hammer, an electric tester and a pipe cutter inside, plus eight pills of Hydrocodone, 20 heart pills and various CDs out of his unlocked truck.
1300 block of Essex Drive, Lima — A 34-year-old man reported someone stole gold diamond earrings, a chain bracelet, a Global Positioning System, a hard hat, safety glasses, $6 in change, his bank card and his Ohio driver’s license from his car on Wednesday.
100 block of North Jameson Avenue, Lima — On Tuesday, a 30-year-old woman said she let a man stay the night at her house and when she woke up, he was gone and so was her cell phone.
700 block of South Atlantic Avenue, Lima — A 22-year-old woman said someone, she believes her ex-boyfriend, broke into her apartment and stole her white Whirlpool refrigerator, worth $1,200.
600 block of Cortlandt Avenue, Lima — On Tuesday, a 49-year-old man reported his EBT card was taken from his mailbox and used at Ray’s Supermarket for a $211.30 and at Walmart for a $48.55 purchase.
2450 Allentown Road, Lima — A Walmart sales associate said a 22-year-old woman tried to steal cuticle remover, nail growth, blush, styling powder, liquid eye liner, lip balm, two nail polish bottles, concealer and nail lacquer from the store on Saturday.
1100 block of South Union Street, Lima — On Monday, a 52-year-old man was arrested after police found him on a ladder leaning up against a telephone pole on the street. He led officers on a foot chase and was found with a substance believed to be crack cocaine on him. Officers believe he was trying to vandalize the pole or the wires hanging from it in some way.
600 block of East Third Street, Lima — A man was arrested after he was found with marijuana on him when he was pulled over for a traffic violation on Tuesday.
1000 block of North Baxter Street, Lima — On Tuesday, a concerned citizen turned in a blue boys bicycle that was found in the front yard of a vacant residence.
