LimaTerry Lynn “Boon Doodles” McClellan Sr., 50, died at 8:51 p.m. June 6, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.He was born Sept. 27, 1961, in Lima to Allen Russell Jr. and Ethel B. McClellan. His father survives in San Francisco. His mother survives in Lima. On June 18, 1976, he met Naomi Yvette “Tankey” White, to whom he dedicated his life and time for 36 years.Mr. McClellan had worked at Procter & Gamble, PTC, Nelson and DTR in Bluffton. He accepted Christ and was baptized at Philippian Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Lima Senior High School.Survivors include a son, Terry Lynn McClellan Jr., of Lima; two daughters, La’Sheta Danielle (Fredrick Burge) McClellan, of Columbus, and Da’Shanna Nicole McClellan, of Lima; five grandchildren, Kiarah McClellan, Sariah Burge, Jasiah Burge, Elijah Ross, and Jamariah Burge; two brothers, Curtis Stapelton Jr., of Lima, and Alfred Jones, of Lima; two sisters, Janice Hankins, of Lima, and Shaundeka Jones, of Lima; paternal grandmother, Ethel Russell, of Sunflower County, Miss.; a special sister, Linda Gordon; five special brothers, Brian Downton, Michael White and Theodore Williams, all of Lima, and Danny Danzy and Tony Danzy, both of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Beatrice Bunley; a maternal grandfather, Robert McClellan; and a paternal grandfather, Allen Russell Sr.Services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home. Minister Elaine Watkins will officiate.
