Ada has made six previous appearances inthe state football playoffs.On Saturday, the Bulldogs will travel to Lewisburg Tri-County North for its regional quarterfinal game in DivisionVI, Region 24. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.Last season, Ada made it to the playoffs, where it wasdefeated in the second round by eventual state championDelphos St. John‚??s, 42-14. Ada ended the 2010campaign 10-2.When Ada has the ball: When it comes tooffense, Ada has plenty of it. The Bulldogs‚?? offenseaveraged nearly 46 points per game during theregular season. Quarterback Konnor Baker supplies agreat deal of that offensive punch for the Bulldogs. Baker has completed159 of 266 passes for 2,813 yards and 38 touchdowns thisseason. Baker also has rushed for 501 yards on 89 carries and 10scores. Running back Kellen Decker has ran the football 107 timesfor 955 yards and 12 TDs.Baker has spread his passes around to primarily five receivers.Jake Ansley leads the Bulldogs with 47 catches for 1,080 yards and19 TDs. Cole Simon has hauled in 31 balls for 573 yards and 10TDs. Matt Wilcox has caught 28 balls for 476 yards and five scores.Micah Roberson has caught 23 passes for 308 yards and three TDs,while Decker has been the beneficiary of 23 passes for 279 yardsand a TD.Defensively, Tri-County North has probably not seen a spreadoffense like this one.When Tri-County North has the ball: Tri-County Northwill try to run the football first. On the season, the Panthers‚??offense has averaged nearly 34 points per game.Tri-County North will run a Wing-T formation, as well asfalling back into shotgun formation on occasion.Ada, defensively, has given up some points this season.Opposing teams have averaged 26 points per gameagainst the Ada defense.
