Kenton youths in critical, serious condition after rollover

KENTON — 9:41 a.m., Apr. 17 — Two Kenton adolescents were transported by helicopter to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo after a roll-over accident Wednesday night.Medical helicopters transported Cody Radcliffe, 17, of Kenton, and Ashley Siebenthaler, 12, from the scene of the rollover accident, which took place at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday night. A representative of St. Vincent said Siebenhaler was in critical condition this morning, while Radcliffe was in serious condition.Radcliff drove a 1997 Dodge Caravan westbound on township Road 140 west of county Road 235 in Hardin County’s Dudley Township. He apparently drove off the right side of the road, according to the Findlay post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He overcorrected, traveling off the left side of the road. Once again he overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll several times before resting on its wheels in a field on the north side of township Road 140.The 1997 Dodge Caravan Radcliff drove sustained severe damage, and Osborn’s Towing removed it from the scene.No citations have been issued for the accident, which remains under investigation. The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, BKP EMS and Southeastern Fire Department assisted on the scene.
