COLUMBUS -- Former Ohio State linebacker and Coldwater graduate Ross Homan was picked up by the Minnesota Vikings with the 200th pick in the NFL Draft.
He was a three-year starter at Ohio State, earning first team All-Big Ten honors as a senior. He totaled 180 tackles in his junior and senior seasons.
Homan was the Division V defensive player of the year in 2005 when Coldwater won its first state football title.
